We live in a scented world where everything from toilet paper, cleaning products and personal care products contain a scent. Manufacturers label these scents in their product ingredient list as 'fragrance'. While manufacturers must list all ingredients of their products, the term 'fragrance' is an umbrella term which masks a host of toxic chemicals.
Fragrances are made from petroleum and are toxic!

petroleum and contain a myriad of toxic chemicals. These chemicals include
benzene derivatives, aldehydes, phthalates and a slew of other known toxins
that are capable of causing cancer, disrupt the hormone system, allergies,
asthma and migraine.
Fragrances used in perfume, colognes and personal care products are absorbed through the skin and the toxins enter straight into the bloodstream causing health issues.

ingredient list when purchasing products, especially those that you will
apply to your skin. Avoid any that contain the word ' fragrance'.
